This past weekend I was out at the beaches at 11pm or so with friends on a grunion run. I brought my P2V+ and flew it. Seems like a good idea, but I quickly realize it only sounded good "on paper".

As soon as you take your bird out, the green and red light start to merge the further out you go. Pretty soon it is impossible to tell which way the P2V+ is facing. The vision app compass is some help, but it's not exactly "accurate".

Luckily I have NAZA mode turned on. Flip over to Home Lock and brought the bird in.

Well, that was a "fun" moment when I stare at the light in the distant and not knowing exactly which direction the quad is turned.

Am thinking of taking it out again next time they have these ocean bioluminescence by the ocean.

are you not using the compass indicator at the bottom of the app?
