New in West Texas here also. I have been researching Mavic Pro and Phantom 4 drones, but so far it looks like there aren't ,many places to fly! I live in Odessa, TX which is within 5 miles of an airport and I also read that it is illegal to fly near an oil rig or State Park. So where CAN I fly? Very disappointed as I have spent weeks researching drones only to find out that I can't find a place to actually fly...Any suggestions?
