New Vision to be released?

Look forward to seeing as DJI need to keep it going as the competition are snapping at their heels.

There are many references to the "P3" in the DJI Vision codebase, so it does seem likely. But no FCC applications for it yet, so if it is coming, it's at least a month away.

I posted about DJI's next new unit maybe 6-7 weeks ago. But BengalBoy posted a lot more detail so I will just add a link to his stuff and let you research the links provided. viewtopic.php?f=27&t=34941#p322252

The X-six seems to be nothing more than some Photoshop doodling - a bit like this "Apple Drone"

The X-six rumour/hoax originated here in early February
http://dronereg.co.uk/could-this-be-the-new-phantom-xsix-from-dji/
.. but nothing more about it has surfaced anywhere.
Hard to imagine if there was any substance to it.

If anything is coming soon, April 11-16 (NAB show in Las Vegas) would be the time it's going to happen.
MaxAero have said mid-April for their X-star and I'm guessing that's where they'll do it.
Could be some other interesting new products from other makers too.

Regardless what it is...it all has to start somewhere. I remember just a short time ago the build up on the Inspire1 and what a flop that was. Video blackouts, camera vibrating like a jack hammer. Hopefully this next unit will be back in line with the vPlus in price, just a lot more technology.

I would like to see " ZOOM " capabilities!
ZOOM zoom!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take care, Fly safe.

There are several reasons why you're not going to see zoom lenses on rtf multirotors for quite some time.
They just aren't going to be generally useful or easy to use.
The weight factor would be significant when you're looking at finely balanced gimbals.
The very wideangle lenses currently used can deal with vibration but it would be magnified if you move toward tele lenses.
If you want to change composition, let your quad do the zooming.

@ J Dot,

DJI Triumph was the "pre-released" name of the Inspire 1.
It was released on November 12, 2014
