I just got a Phantom 4, got everything updated but the remote will not charge more than 3 lights. I've read that it could be that it needs to be run down to 1 light then it will charge all the way. I've only had it a couple of days haven't flown it yet, wasn't sure if I should contact DJI or if this is normal, thanks for any info that you may have.

Have you left the remote on to run the battery down to 1 light yet ?.I would try that then charge it and see if it will charge all the way up.

Try the run down drain it recharge.. what have ya got to loose... if it don't work call dji good luck

Even at three lights, it will likely power a lot of flights.
