And is your wife or others 2000' down the path you intend to fly. Having both of you in the same spot with the same limited VLOS from where you stand does not qualify. Also, if your wife is, let's say 2000' down the path, do you have walkie-talkie or other communication so that if she sees any low flying aircraft, she can direct your drone down.

Terrific! I also find that a cell phone on speaker works better that a Walkie Talkie ... when in range of good satellite reception.

If i'm not mistaken the parabolic will do no good on the SE. The external antenna is for communication between the RC and mobile device. At least that is the way my SE works.

Afraid not according to DJI tech engineer and numerous threads in th SE forum. The SE is not controlled via the same wifi as the P3S which WILL benifit from the parabolic.
