New P4P Pilote from Canada!

I am located on Vancouver Island near Victoria, BC!

Just did the software updates on the drone/controller!

Is the controller software stored in the SD card inserted? And drone software is integrated into hardware? SD card on the drone is the only place where the photos/videos are stored?

Welcome I too am on the Island and as far as I could tell so far Im the only other one on this site.
I fly a P3Pro and am also very new at it .
Give me a shout if you're going to be in the Victoria Area or you need some help.
The People on this Site have been Great and Free with their Knowledge and Experience.

I just did an firmware update to the Aircraft and to the Controller.
There are some differences between the P3 Pro and your P4 But you will catch on to that with time.
All of the video you shoot goes on the SD Card and I get a lower Res version on my device.

You mentioned that youd like to shoot over the water footage.
There are some issues when you fly low (a Couple of feet but I haven't had an issue yet) fingers crossed.

The people on this site are very responsive to just about any issue. All you have to do is ask.
