I am new to drones and just bought a P4 Pro+. Does anyone know if it is possible to also use your iPhone as an alternate so I can use other applications? Thanks!

A phone/tablet cannot be connected to the P4P+ remote controller. You could buy the P4P remote controller (without the screen) and link that to your Phantom whenever you need to fly with a 3rd party app. That remote controller can be purchased here on Amazon or directly from DJI here.

You'll have to get a nonPLUS controller and then use your phone/tablet. I am not aware of any way to piggy back to the PLUS controller.
