new appreciation for P3 camera stability

After my first P3 flight, I was blown away by the stability of the camera. It appeared that the video was obtained from a camera mounted on a tripod. I didn't fully appreciate the stability of the P3 camera until I started using the DJI Osmo+, which is a hand-held camera with a gimbal. While walking around on a ship, I obtained video that shows motion of nearby objects as I walked past them, but the horizon and clouds in the distance don't move at all unless the camera is intentionally panned around. This effect is less obvious from a flying platform that isn't surrounded by nearby objects, and that is why I didn't fully appreciate the P3 until I started using the other DJI product.
