Hi,

Ok I've been making use of my fpv setup on my phantom 1.1.1. I live on a farm and have been using it to count livestock (lazy I know). I have the fatshark teleporter v3 kit. The image in the goggles isn't great, but it was my first step into fpv so I can live with it. My problem is with needing line of sight for the 5.8ghz signal. I live in a very hilly part of the world with a good few trees. I need a system that will allow me to get in behind hills and stuff.

I have read that a lower frequency allows this. So my questions are:
1. What frequencies are legal in the UK?
2. What frequency will not effect my phantoms 2.4 signal?
3. What equipment would I need?

I only need at the max 1000m range. Can I still use fatshark equipment to wireless to goggles?

Thanks for your help,

Dee.

What you are trying to do is beyond the scope of the Phantom as a standalone product.

Hi,

Ok 1000m was just a max fpv distance I pulled out of the air. Half that would be fine. I've had the phantom out to 500m before, and I'm told It can do 1000m.

I just want to know the different setups I could use for getting video behind trees, hills and stuff.

Cheers,

Dee.
