Need Help GoolRc gimble camera mount.

Is is my first Forum actually kind of cool anyways I'm going to invent something tonight to hold my cell phone I can post pictures tomorrow

You want to do thermal imaging? You would need a special camera to do that. Phones don't have the right kind of camera. (Or do the new ones do?) Sorry to disappoint you but just trying to help.

A Flir Vue Pro is a thermal camera not a cell phone.

I have 2 phantom 4 drones and 1 other drone.

I have 3 cell phones

I have 1 Flir Vue Pro 640 thermal Camera.

1 cellphone I use with Therm-app. This one I connected to one of my phantom 4's last night worked great

Now I'm looking into the best way to connect my Flir Vue to one of my other drones.

Mavic.
Serious feel like I'm in twilight zone. I see all this drone footage using the Flir Vue then I order one and can't anywhere to buy a mount. Did find a great mount in the Netherlands hold on will look for his YouTube

Forget that video. I ordered this, no modifi cations

I will Google VPS but maybe you could elaborate thank you
VPS = Vision Positioning System - the downward facing sensors under your Phantom.
If you mount something that blocks their downward view, they are going to act up and possibly cause trouble.

Here's one way to disable them:

Got it , thanks but I'm actually replacing the existing. Phantom 4 camera with the Flir Vue , actually emailed the guy after my comment because it was an earlier option.
I did come up with this sweet set up for my camera,

I did come up with this sweet set up for my camera,

1. The camera has nothing to do with VPS. Check the docs.
2. Given that FLIR mainly picks up heat signatures, aren't you asking for trouble flying at night without a regular camera? Even the cops use both for tracking at night.

When he mounts the camera on the back (if he dose) it will block the VPS, so therefore, the drone would get confused.

I know that, but his comment seemed to imply that VPS relies on the camera itself.

Why trouble and I can't see much at all at night with the camera . There are no lights. I did find an awesome way to mount my camera on my other phantom 4. I used a side cube light holder. The Flir mounted phantom is just for launching at night to track coyotes
