Hello

Is it OK if I switch between ND filters when Phantom 3 is turned on? Or is it better to turn it off, and then replace ND filter? Can I do any damage to camera or gimbal?

It would be best to change the filter while your Phantom is powered down so the gimbal is not trying to steady the camera as you're putting pressure against it.

Yeah I tried this once and the app complained, gimble motor overload or something to that effect. Won't do that again

I agree with msinger, change the filter with phantom in off state.

Denny,

Here's a very short clip that I did just this morning with the Neweer adjustable. No editing, straight from the camera. It's a $20 filter on Amazon and it is glass.

Jerry

Edit: Make sure you change it to 1080p, it came up automatically on my PC at 480p.

Thanks Jerry...that video looks great to me...I'm gonna order one and give it a try. I don't like changing the filters all the time.
