Narrow vs fisheye...what does it do?

I wonder about the narrow vision versus the fisheye effect.
I would really like to film in narrow vision, but does it actually digitally zoom in to prevent the fisheye effect or....?
I wonder how it works. I rather go with fisheye if it zooms and destroys the quality of the video.

Yes, the narrow FoV uses less of the sensor. You are still getting a full resolution image though. The full, fish-eye uses the entire sensor and then downsamples it to 1080p or whatever resolution you have set.
