I'm pretty new to the drone scene. I'm currently in the process of getting my Part 107 license, but I purchased my Phantom 3 Pro used with someone who had it registered with an N-Number. How do I transfer that N-Number to me? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum.
IMHO your best bet is to have them CANCEL that registration # (let them fill out the paperwork) and once that is completed you can go to the FAA Online Registration portal and register it with the FAA#. They can call their local FSDO to get the proper forms sent to them and they have to be hand filled out (in triplicate) and you can make no mistakes or you have to start with fresh forms. Major PITA.

N#'s are a lot of trouble especially if you're transferring ownership etc. It's paperwork on both ends and fees 2x. The online portal is a one and done and you an then manage your fleet via the portal.
