My USB MOD

Here is the first MOD I did to my Phantom.
1. Open shell remove USB cable.
2. Remove LED board and lens.
3. Cut slot in shell.
4. Shave material from USB cable.
5. Rotate LED board 180 and install on shell.

It works great and there is less stress on the LED board cable to the NAZA. :mrgreen:

Like it, did you have to remove the board to access the 2 screws (little darlings they are)?

I swapped to new pcb and swapped led but had to swap back. I also need access to usb on Zenmuse and OSDmini. Did look at putting a twin usb port on side and trimming usb leads to connect to it.

Did find theres a canbus now but where do you put it. Already have 3 black boxes in lid.

Also stuck my Loc8tor tracker to the battery door today ( hope not to use it )
 
You can access the two small screws with a long screw driver through the battery compartment. No need to remove the main board.
