my beloved phantom 4 transmitter would not charge past 3 lights, so i purchased a new battery and install myself, but it still wont go to full charge, is there a fix, or do i have to buy a new radio, there about $250 at the stores but have to be ordered. Thanks for any help guys

I had the same issue a while back and I ended up buying a new transmitter

There is a method called reflow of the circuit board. You blow hot air from a heat gun onto a specific area of the circuit board that controls the amount of charge the system will take. Look it up on YouTube. It worked for me.

The reflow does work but doesn't seem to last. You should be able to pick up a like new 300C for $100, just be sure seller guarantees the battery and charging. I have 1 if interested.

I’ve reflowed/heated the component several times, it didn’t last. I sent the controller back to DJI for repair, it was way out of warranty, they sent me a new one for $99. That was a few years ago, who knows if they still have any.

I did same with 300F few years back, $100 incl frt both ways. Worth setting up a repair ticket with DJI Support

I have a chap in the UK who is an expert on this repair, he tells me that its a combination of knoweldge and heating time to get a successful repair on these units
