Lessons learned on installation:
Read the **** instructions in putting the propellers on.
ALL four of them! I had them on wrong motors and rotation. Two of them threw me off as I couldn't see the white on white rotation arrows marked on the propellers. Kept on leaning one side into the ground. LOL. Dang!
Finally figured it out! Lessons learned: Read the installation instructions carefully. Take it to a huge field. SMALL backyard is NOT the ideal first flight plan!!! Another Lesson: Don't fly on a windy day! Otherwise, successful first flight with few minor crashes. No broken equipment. Good thing that I had ordered extra propellers (carbon fiber). Hope the quality is good - from China. I suppose the Phantom is made in China too?
Good thing that I had ordered four additional batteries. These get eaten up quick!
Ready for more flights.
