Had some unusual flying conditions recently. Quite a lot of fog had settled in the Yarra Valley on a cold winter's night and, early the next morning, was being blown into the surrounding hills.
Thanks. I could always see trees or ground and orientate myself accordingly. Plus, the drone practically flies itself - so you know you're going to hold your line, even if you were to temporarily lose your bearings. Those low shots over the river were facilitated by my launch spot on a ridge about 60 metres above the water level and pretty much line-of-sight.Excellent video. The mist gives so mystical view of the woods.
It's quite a tricky skill to fly in the mist. Quickly can get disoriented in such.
How was the signal when flying within those trees over the water?
