Had some unusual flying conditions recently. Quite a lot of fog had settled in the Yarra Valley on a cold winter's night and, early the next morning, was being blown into the surrounding hills.

Excellent video. The mist gives so mystical view of the woods.
It's quite a tricky skill to fly in the mist. Quickly can get disoriented in such.
How was the signal when flying within those trees over the water?

Thanks. I could always see trees or ground and orientate myself accordingly. Plus, the drone practically flies itself - so you know you're going to hold your line, even if you were to temporarily lose your bearings. Those low shots over the river were facilitated by my launch spot on a ridge about 60 metres above the water level and pretty much line-of-sight.

If anyone's interested in more 'misty hills', I put together this video (below) of footage shot over the same two consecutive mornings. Whereas the first video focused on Mt Lofty Park, this one shows more of the surrounding hills and areas further up the valley.
