I'm just wonder if there any apps that are better then Sensefly? I am after a app for mining and construction work with the whole GIS capabilities .
sensefly app seems to do it all but don't think you can use a DJI with there soft wear..

im also after an app that you can contours to make topographic maps

I can't say I fully understand you. If you're looking for a mobile app for autonomous flight in order to do a terrain mapping or 3D mapping, the most popular ones are:
- Altizure
- Pix4D Capture
- DroneDeploy

I'm using Pix4D (though I'm not using their reconstruction software; after I get the photos I'm loading them into PhotoScan).

For 3D reconstruction, DroneDeploy and Pix4D are easier to use and more automatic, PhotoScan has better algorithms and provides better results but requires a few hours to set up for best result (though all these tools have "idiot mode", where they can produce some output without any user interaction).
