Maps on iPad Ground Station

Im using iPad Ground Station on my Flamewheel550.

Where do the maps come from that are used in Ground Station app ?.

You can zoom in to approx 1000ft agl, when I compare to google earth.

Can anyone else zoom in closer than that ?

Hi Browneee.

I believe the maps used on the iPad app are old Bing images, if I look at my property on the app the image is about 12 years old where as on Google Earth ( and APM Mission Planner) it is only about three years old. I'm sure there is method buried somewhere in the madness that DJI employed when developing the GS App.
