Loss of signal to the drone

Hello Patrick, I just thought of something... Do you have an App like magnetology that will tell you the KP index?? I have several Apps that will tell me the the earth magnetic interference. Check out Magnetology /Drone Buddy/UAV Forecast/ & my favorite Hover. Hang in there we'll figure this out.

My phantom 3 4k has worked perfectly until I broke a gimbal cable. I replaced the cable today and it is doing the same thing reported here on this thread. I am using a Nexus 7 but does the same thing with my ipad. I suspect I have gotten hold of a faulty gimbal cable. I have another on the way hopefully a better one. Sense mine started this after the cable replacement, just wondering and hoping it is just a bad cable. Camera works great for about 30 seconds and the back on after about another 30 seconds. Like the fellow said above turns black and white and freezes and then kicks back in. Bad cable? Guess ill find out.
