I've been reading a lot of recent articles here about the loss of signal where the RTH has kicked in. This has never been an issue for me to date as I always fly with line of sight. However, I've seen some great videos shot back home, for example a P3A going around a castle; so line of sight would be lost.

What are the general safe guideline for example, doing a POI around a building - is this a no no due to a potential signal loss ?

Using the GO app you can do a POI round a building if you're above it, and your RC has clear sight of the P3.....if you try and go round the building from a lower level, and the building blocks the signal, RTH will kick in. (Make sure RTH is set high enough to clear the building on the way back!)

As MacCool says, you can use Litchi to plan a route round the building, and it will continue even when you lose signal.
