Litchi and Dji go app problem

This may not be the right forum to post this problem but here goes. I have two phantom 3 drones at the present a pro, advanced and a phantom 4 advanced +. I enjoy taking something that no one else can fix or figure out and come up with a solution. I have met my match on my iPhone 6s. I had Dji go loaded on the phone and was working fine. I loaded the litchi app and that is where my problem started. When you tap on the Dji go app it just momentarily comes up an goes away. I have been working on this problem for over 5 hours.reloaded app. Totally wiped out the phone to bare bricks and built back still same. Drones and controller work fine with other phones I have and was working until litchi. Appears trouble is in the iPhone 6s litchi changed something. have removed litchi app still problem. anyone else seen this problem?

Hear I go with my first questions

#1 Your first battle is the iPhone6s?
#2 If I'm sure you need to get DJI GO, to work with any mobile device. Before you can even use Litchi.
BTW somebody will correct me if I'm mistaking

I'm going dig up some info repleaded to the PSA/PSP on DJI Go compatible devices, then find stuff on the Litchi web sight which has a retaliation on compatible mobile devices.

For now stick on this thread, I'm sure somebody well help us out.

This was my first problem with the iPhone 6.the phone is a left over from an upgrade and had been using it for awhile with no problems. I also have another iPhone 6 with Dji go on it and has not been used with litchi and it works fine with Dji go. Seems like problem is in the phone . I noticed that there is a difference in the first splash screen between the two phones. The good one comes up with same splash screen and login as djigo4. I am going to try today reloading the phone from my pc instead of just reset all and see if that does anything. Thanks for reply.

Have you removed the Litchi app to see if the problem persists? You may need to remove the DJI Go 4 app and reinstall it.

Have removed litchi,Dji go 4 nothing seems to help have tried everything I can think of. Going to try to wipe the iPhone and load it from scratch to see if that helps. This iPhone problem is a good one.

Latest. I completely wiped the iphone6 clean and loaded both software and firmware manually. Clean phone? Downloaded Dji go, same problem, just momentarily opens then closes. Going to have to really think on this one. Will keep posted if find what went wrong when I loaded the litchi app to start all this.

Ok so first off, the DJI GO app is now an old outdated app, the issue with IOS is that they only keep the last updated version, so if this is now not working on your device you are essentially stuffed, all you can do is upgrade the device, as IOS wont allow the loading of an older version ( this is where android phones come top) this will no doubt be the same for Litchi app.

What bugs me about this iPhone 6 that will not open it is that it had been okay. I also have another iPhone 6 and it is still working fine. Alli can say is ‘it’s magic’.

Did you download the app from the DJI website?

Have downloaded from Dji which links you to the app. Have downloaded from App Store. Several times I have downloaded all the same. From looking back Dji had this similar problem around 2017 or so an got a lot of complaints about that until they fixed it. But now they no longer support the app’s we are on our own. I have done about all I can think of except decompile the app and see what it is doing.

Tuesday afternoon I had major back tweak, anyways I have had them before, just getting to the normal world.

I can use litchi,but am a little scared of it. I have another iPhone like the one I am having problems with I can use. The Dji go app on it works fine. Really strange that one phone will work the app and another like it will not even open the app. I thought that wiping the phone clean and returning to factory settings would fix, but did not.

Are Both iPhones the same model?

If I remember there is a chart on crApples sight, that had bunch info that related to pads and phones.

I prefer crApple over Androids for many reasons, but I like some utilities that you can't install on a crApple.

I current use a iPhone 7, I have used that with MM1.
I have tablet that I call Air Phantom, I have used that with P3S and P3A.

I gave up on this iPhone am using another one I have it works fine. Using the problem iPhone to remotely control my go pro. Have a GoPro on one phantom and the problem phone works it fine. Had been using my iPad but phone being smaller can put both on controller and watch together. Sort of like a split screen.
