Linking issues, still

DJI tech support only repeated the instructions in the manual, as if I had not tried that ten times already. No other suggestions or troubleshooting. Really? They told me to send it in to them for 'analysis'. I'm thinking of resetting the entire unit, I heard there is a button sequence to do that. Anyone try that? Will it erase the flight logs?
