TVA lake drawn down for five years now to fix a leak. Two more years to go. All properties are high and dry...

If I was in your area, i would be metal detecting everyday. Mud seems to preserve things. I have found old fishing lures, anchors, coins, lead and a rod and reel that worked great after flushing out with water.
