P4 Firmware Latest Pro 4 V2.0 firmware update

Can anyone confirm that the latest firmware update for the Pro 4 2.0 was in Oct. 2018 and included Occusync 2.0? I just bought the new smart controller expecting it to be compatible my V2.0. DJI's website promoting the smart controller states it is compatible with any of their products running Occusync 2.0. I am currently working with a rep for DJI who advises that he escalated this to the higher up support team as this information was not supposed to be public. As of right now I have a $750 controller that I am unable to use. Any input or advice is appreciated.

The phatom 4 pro v2 has occusync HD , not sure this is the same as occusync 2...
