Personally, I definitely am not supportive of any reckless flying. However, I also don't believe in paranoid flying. There's a happy middle ground in there that is both practical and safe. All flying contains an element of risk. The key is to manage it with experience and common sense, which most of those looking to shut us down lack completely. The media has turned every delusional UFO sighting into a drone sighting (trash cans flying at 6,000 feet over LAX, according to the FAA near miss log!). It's like trying to banish guns after the latest school shooting. If the security guards carried guns, someone could have shot back a lot sooner! Outlaws will always have guns. Outlaws will continue to fly drones recklessly despite all regulations. Smoke 'em if you got 'em!
