DJI very own site lists the Phantom alone. No camera, props, transmitter or anything.

The Phantom aircraft body is the closest thing available.

Wow. When gimbal/camera added it's more than the P3A package with controller. Almost as much as the P3P by itself.
Perhaps I need to see if I can find a reconditioned one someplace.

Yes you can buy the Phantom 3 on its own. Do NOT do that, it's not worth it.. Buy a whole new package and individually sell off what you don't need. You will end up ahead in the long run.
