I have a phantom people with two strobs..I had to add 6 ounces to one side of landing gear two cell phone battries , I flew it it was ok..but should I counter ballance the other side?

Probably best for stability and ultimate control to split the weight equally between the landing skids.
I bought one of these Lume Cube drone kits last week.

Noticeable how, or to who?
Two separate powerpacks, or buy two small self contained units.
Please Post a pic so we know what your drone's dealing with? ;-)

How much weight do they add to your unit?

Gee you know, I've never weighed them. Thanks
Hold the line please. un momenta
They are 4.7 ounces each, with the 3D printed mounting bars.
So yeah, near 0.6lbs a pair.

I'm guessing on the weight,I'm not sure about how it will look..the battery looks like crapp but I can't put it inside the drone...

Ok, now I see what you mean, they're very negatively visible. ;-)
Why not find and use something more appropriately sized?
Placing that inside the shell could negatively affect your IMU &/or the compass. If you need to keep that method, Attach the battery somehow below the drones battery. Velcro fastener is awesome.

Sure, the drone can easily lift a lot more weight that those have.

wait, isn't the compass or antenna on the legs?

Yeah it's on the same side his phone is on. Might cause an issue or two along the way?

What I have mounted there is a 5 volt battery with a charger ,it's portable battery sorce for a cell phone..

I don't exactly know yet about the flight time ..I just flown it yesterday not very high..was just making sure it would not fly unbalanced..looks like the gps kept it level...I had another drone before..had all kinds of fpv battries cameras...it took almost full throttle to take off...
