IPhone shut down mid flight!

I've had the same issue with my iPhone for several weeks. I read about closing the apps running in the background by double tapping the home button and swiping up, since then I've not had any problems

My iPhone 6 is the same. Today I started my flight at 90% on the phone. 8 mins in phone dies. Plug phone in and it's at 48% when if reboots.

Yep. Now I had it go down to 11%, then recharge. I don't know if it was a complete fix or not. I'll soon find out.

At least with the P3Standard you are able to connect a Power Bank to your phone while flying, and thats a saver!

Same thing happened to me yesterday, 58% battery on my iPhone 6s and it turned off!! Luckily it was directly above me so just brought her down.. I might wait for warmer weather :)

See my original post. I explain in detail how I made mine out of wool felt. If your in a pinch you can just duct tape it across the back. Only tape the ends. The dry chemical hand warmers need oxygen so make sure it can "breath"! Prewarm the hand warmer.
