iPad minimum specs question

Using a first gen iPad mini with my phantom 4 and I get major green bars and distortions on screen. Playback of recorded footage is very jumpy and unusable. Using my iPhone 6 Plus has no issues. Any idea why? Is the iPad mini just not capable enough? Thanks everyone!

Agreed with msinger. First gen iPad Mini is 4 year old technology.
