iPad mini 3 vs mini 2

Does anyone use an iPad mini 3 or 2 wifi + cellular with a DJI Phantom 3 standard?
If you do, how does it work with the P3S? Do you expirence lag or freezing?

I sometimes use my i-pod mini with a P3S. It works fine with no noticeable lag. The screen is not as bright as on my i-phone 6 so in bright sunlight I use the iphone. For evening of overcast days the larger size of the mini is an advantage for my old eyes.

Have used mini 2 with Phantom 4, didn’t notice any lag but did start getting green stripes and over heating cpu after last update to app. Have cured the problem by getting an Air 2.

iPad mini 2 was a no go for me, I got an warning about the device CPU overload or something, can’t remember because I could flat out not fly with it. Went back to my 7 Plus
