I recall a thread a couple weeks ago sayin it’s not compatible with DJI Go app I’m just checkin if anyone can confirm if it’s safe yet or should I still avoid updating my mini which I use for flying ?

What do you mean the firmware was ok all along and it was a bad cable ? Lol
No, if you use glasses with hdmi instead of usb you might be out-of-luck. Otherwise, no issues I am aware of.
I think it is a safe assumption you will not have this issue (as you would most likely know if you added a hdmi port to the controller)

@Tomas Wangen is correct that the issue wrt the P4 series is related to the HDMI module, iOS 11.2.5, and a specific version of the Go4 app.
