Not very practical. It only works for about a 1 block radius. Other than that it relies on others nearby to be using them also with a base station for a 'network' otherwise it is no better than 'Tile'.

I just looked up tile. No Android support. And the crazy thing is you have to buy a new tile EACH YEAR! Great for the company bad for the consumer.
