I fly a phantom pro 3, and a inspire pro.....

obviously the inspire would be madness indoors,... the phantom is doable in the right situations... but does anyone have experience with perhaps a safer indoor only drone that still takes 4k video and doesnt cause as much damage if crashed ?

I was updating my insurance policy which doesnt allow for indoor flights, but they mentioned some guys were able to get it approved with certain UAV's which they did not know the name of.

Why can't an Inspire or Phantom be flown indoors?

Yeah, I get flying in your living room... not much point to that. But indoors with a much larger room? Why not?

My insurance won't cover it.... I haven't had the balls to fly my inspire indoors... Phantom I have but just scares me a bit if I'm inside a multi million dollar home if my insurance won't cover indoor flights.

Get an Osmo then.

Yup, or fly by hand, remove the props and away you go. ;-)
