I pad mini 2 or Samsung a8

i have been using an iPad mini 2 with my P3 pro and it seems to work well except for the glare. I am afraid of dropping it and cracking the screen. Is the Samsung A8 a good substitution or am I better off with my mini? The Samsung is quite a bit cheaper tablet.

I keep my iPad Mini 2 in a TPU case in case it falls and really-really like Hoodman. Can't imagine flying without it. No glare.

Don't know about the A8.... but I love my Samsung Tab S2 (10")

I've got Samsung, however I would go with a mini as DJI seem to align with the Apple products easier.
