I am wanting to load maps onto my controller, how do I do this?
Do maps have to be of a specific file type?

What exactly are you trying to do with the maps?

The controller has a map function. Currently mine is just white with the flight path over the top. I want to know if I can load any form of map onto it so that the flight path is overlayed onto the map.

If your mobile device is connected to the Internet, the maps should display in DJI GO. If you want to see them while disconnected, you'll need to cache the maps like this.

Start DJI GO 4 on your mobile device and make sure you have an internet connection. You don't have to connect to your RC. In the right-top corner of the screen tap the 3 little horizontal bars, then tap 'Offline Map' and select a region you want to download (you can zoom in and out).

Can offline maps be downloaded in a manner that will display the satellite view? In rural areas where there are no roads, it would be helpful to see fields, trees, etc.
