How much wind do you consider too much?

On the days this winter when it's not been too cold, it's been way too windy.

What's your personal cutoff for windspeed?

When in gps mode if it cant stay within 3 feet of hover fly at your own risk.

So do you have an idea of what wind speed keeps you outside that 3ft radius?

I've heard 20mph is possible, but if it's over 15 I'm out. I prefer 0-10 when I can.

I haven't tested to see if the P2V props being larger, with more surface area, help or hurt the wind situation, but my gut feel is that the craft is more stable with them on. It doesn't seem to accelerate forward / backward / yaw as quickly though.

when you can't get forward movement going head on into the wind then it's too much, usually around 20mph.

I was a dummy and took my 2nd or 3rd flight in 17 mph winds. It leaned lots but did a good job of staying around. If I had lost GPS for even a few seconds, I would have easily crashed my phantom.
