Horizontal Obstacle Avoidance - DJI Go App

Every time I restart the P4 the settings concerning obstacle avoidance are disabled and I have to enable them again. Does anybody know why?

Maybe because obstacle avoidance isn't something you would always want switched on.
It slows the speed in GPS mode by 33%.
It would make sense to only have it turned on when it might be useful.

mine did this once after a firmware upgrade. other than that OA is on unless i manually switch it off

or if it detects too little light and gives the warning in the app. or of course sport mode.

someone may not always want it on, but thats not the logic DJI uses
