I don't have a P3S and I haven't tested this yet in my P3P, but on my two P2 ACs, the top speed is limited to 12 mph in home lock. Hence, a long distance flight in home lock ends up burning too much battery. I wonder if there is a similar speed restriction on the P3S or other P3s?

Nope. Comes back wide open if you pull it all the way back.

It's a good alternative to Go Home if you lose orientation as you're still in control
