I'm a newbie here, but have been stopping by here for a while. I am completely new to drones but I am getting ready to order a P4P. I look forward to learning as much as possible and I'm sure I will have many questions. For now just trying to find the best package deal. Suggestions?

As for package deals, they are find if you're going to use everything in the package. If not, you can often get a better deal by buying the Phantom and additional accessories separately.
The P4P is still pretty new, so it's rare to find it on sale. If you live in the US, make sure you buy directly from DJI or an authorized DJI dealer (so DJI will honor their warranty if you need to use it). If you like to shop on Amazon, I have a list of DJI dealers selling on Amazon here.

And as a side note...many of us have been able to insure our uavs through State Farm.
