Thanks for the add. I am a new member with a problem with an older unit. I have a Phantom 4PRO+ that I have not used in years. One of those buys for a specific project then no other needs came up. Trying to dust it off and use it again, tried to power up. At first the screen came up as usual. required the calibration on the gyro. no problem but then went to a sign in screen mode and will not move passed. It is prompting me to login to my DJI account. I put in the email and password and nothing. It says it cannot connect to network. I have made the WIFI connection many times. So now I cannot seem to get passed this screen. Any thoughts? hat to think the unit is a brick. It has had minimal use and while an older bigger unit, I really have no need to upgrade if this can be made functional. I am guessing DJI no longer supports this unit from what I can see on their site.

Greetings from Birmingham Alabama USA, welcome to the forum! We look forward to hearing from you!

I would begin by resetting to factory settings on the remote. Then conduct any updates and try again.

I did try that once but I can try it again. I have been poking around the DJI site but cannot find much on these older Phantom drones. Looks like they are orphaned. Which I totally get it given their age in the tech world. I think we purchased this back in 2008 ish. But really would love to get it back on line. Thanks for the note. I'll keep you posted.
Have a great day.

I still use my Phantom 4 Pro v2 from time to time. Mainly to do mapping/surveying. I don't have the plus but your problem sounds like a software issue to me.

Go into settings and make sure you are connected to your network.

I see you're connected to the wifi, and assuming that there is internet connection, I wouldn't know what else to suggest other than reaching out to DJI support.

Can you successfully log into your DJI account via a laptop that uses the same WiFi network? If not, your modem may need to be re-booted.

Yes I can login via computer web no issue. It’s just this screen freeze on device. I may send to DJI for a repair. Thanks

The Phantom 4 pro is a fine drone and still works perfectly.

There were no DJI drones until 2013 and the Phantom 4 pro was released in late 2016.

The screen message you are getting says Network unavailable.
That's an indication that you aren't getting through to DJI's server.
It could be an issue at your end or something at DJI's end.
There may be nothing wrong with your drone at all.

Have you just had this problem on one day or have you been trying over a number of days?

If you haven't found the manual, it's here:

May want to pick up a used 300F remote for use with phone or tablet. I use both remotes, your 300E and F, with my P4Ps. Try installing GO4 on a phone or tablet (from DJI downloads) to see if your network can login to DJI on that device. Once logged in, it may open the connection to your built in screen.

It’s been some time since I’ve had the plus style controller in my hands but is there not a check box that shows up after you enter your sign in info that pertains to the
“Terms and Privacy Policy”. Has that box been checked?

I still own and fly my P4P on some jobs. It's a very robust drone and she's never let me down. But, as some know, I run legacy firmwares and legacy software. I don't have to login to DJI to use any of my drones. I only connect the iPads to the Internet for map caching, but never while the remote or drone are attached to the iPad.

I never liked the plus because of the built-in tablet. I don't like the idea that you're stuck with the screen they give you.

Just curious; Is it possible to plug a standard iPad into the remote control and operate the P4P+ via the iPad? If so, that would be my next step.

Here are my P4P spec's:

Go4 App: v4.0.8

Aircraft: v1.3.509

Remote: v01.04.01.00

Precise Fly Safe database: v00.00.01.04

Basic Fly Safe database: v00.00.01.04

I don't know if the plus uses the same firmwares...probably not. I just used my P4P on a job like 3 weeks ago. She performed like a champ.

Hi A Been there done that. and those and even reset. I bought a used controller. Had mapbox sign in from old owner. My dji sign in kept kicking me out. Had to un install mapbox, downgrade operating sys before it knew something was up and asked for my login and accessed the internet proper. Long story short. There are a few things that can screw with the works. First tho..u say screen freeze. You mean its always there under other screens or comes back to that when you close anything else? Some sys think they are online because they get networks timing signals. Software signals may not be shared proper between devices. You won't find much help from dji. But this forum is full of experts and others willing to help. The key to all of this is information. The more we can get from you the easier it will be to cure you of your ills. Let us know for better or worse we are here. P4P+2,P4P+,P4P,P3,P2

Hello, I just came across this thread.
What caught my attention was second picture on,

Then @Starz,
It’s been some time since I’ve had the plus style controller in my hands but is there not a check box that shows up after you enter your sign in info that pertains to the
“Terms and Privacy Policy”. Has that box been checked?

I really think there is a connection there?

@msinger, do you have a thought on this thread?

Rod ..
