Great comments, thanks very much. Shooting HDR Panos is ambitious and labor-intensive even from a ground-level tripod. Doing it manually from a drone has to be crazy complicated. I get nervous when my attention is diverted from flying for even a minute, so I understand your worries about elapsing time..

My worries about elapsing time are actually mainly centered around changing light and moving clouds, both of which have the potential to destroy the shot if too much time goes by. At least at altitudes a couple hundred feet, i.e. Above tree lines, I feel comfortable enough with the tech to not have fingers on controls ready to respond in a milliseconds.

Labor-intensive is a fair description though. :) I absolutely love the final products though so I guess it's a labor of love. :)
