What is hardware decoding and should I have it on

Depends what device you are flying with. On later iPads it provides ab improvement in the rendering of the video downlink (moves graphics provessing to the GPU in the SOC allowing the processor cores to dedicate more time to the app functions.

I'm flying with an iPad Air 2. I'm not at all tech savvy so what does that mean in layman terms. Lol

Btw, I'm flying a p4 and using litchi, autopilot,and dji go4 if that helps.
