Hey doods!

I had a visitor while shooting traffic yesterday. The first photo is the original frame grab and the second one I touched up a bit in photoshop.

I thought your shooting AT traffic. Then I saw the bird, so your trying to shoot the bird?
You got a gun on that?

I may be confused, but it was a nice SHOT! 👌

You mean the caliber?

Once I seen what he was doing I remembered what he does.

He will tell you unless its Top Secret.:)

Great photos!

I’m with Capt KO on this one. Blurring the background brings the focus to the falcon for a nice artistic touch.
It was a Falcon, I thought it was a Phantom? :)

Nice Shot!!

I was doing exactly that.

So sir. The bird (a Cooper's Hawk, I'm told) just flew through my drone camera's field of view.

???

Thanx! Like I said, just a frame grab with a couple minutes in Photoshop. In other words, a lucky shot.

Just curious. What drone?
P4P.

The camera that comes on the P4P....<;^)

4K. Digitally zoomed.

Frame rate?
If I recall correctly, 1/2000. f/4. ISO 200.

Interesting juxtaposition. The first one is great. The second one really isolates the bird. Tossup.
That's why I posted both images. I figured some would appreciate the rawness of the original while others might favor the retouch. If I spent real time on the retouch I could probably improve it a bit.

"shooting AT traffic" like with a gun :).

Yes I have a very twisted humor. 👌

It is indeed a Cooper's hawk, and not a falcon or a red-tailed hawk.
The tail feathers give it away.
Great capture!
What was the video frame rate?
30fps results in a frame grab that is twice the size of a 60fps frame grab because the recording bit rate is fixed.
Here is a 5 year old shot from my P4P, from back in the day.
I was flying backwards, while the sea gull was chatting up the P4P! LOL!
