GPS Phantom 2 vision plus

I've been trying to solve some of the problems with my drone for a while, one of the problems is the GPS, I can connect it to the phone but due to problems with the wifi module I see the black screen and it doesn't give me the position, I wanted to know if it was It is possible to somehow connect directly to the GPS to see the position.

Not sure what you mean by "give me the position." You're obviously using the DJI app since none of the others work anymore. As I recall, the DJI app doesn't show your GPS position - not on a map and not in text either. Best you can do is get distance and height. And there's a compass on-screen that will show you direction.

Another problem is the old hardware doesn't play well with the modern phones or tablets. Best to find an old and compatible phone/tablet and use that to fly.

It would also be a good idea to learn the lamps. The lamps will give you all the info you need to fly safely.

Non sono sicuro di cosa intendi con "dammi la posizione". Ovviamente stai usando l'app DJI, dato che nessuna delle altre funziona più. Se non erro, l'app DJI non mostra la tua posizione GPS, né su una mappa né nel testo. Il massimo che puoi fare è ottenere distanza e altezza. E c'è una bussola sullo schermo che ti mostrerà la direzione.

Un altro problema è che il vecchio hardware non funziona bene con i telefoni o tablet moderni. Meglio trovare un telefono/tablet vecchio e compatibile e usarlo per volare.

Sarebbe anche una buona idea imparare a usare le lampade. Le lampade ti daranno tutte le informazioni di cui hai bisogno per volare in sicurezza.

Sorry for the late reply, the app does have a map function and it will show the position of the quad, the lack of fpv can be fixed by visiting my channel and looking at the repair guide found here

I also have the "black screen" (again). My compliments to you, sir, with the skills to modify that PCB. I've taken your advice and have NOT tried your repairs since I'd probably melt the whole dang board. Thank you for showing us the needed repairs, however. I may ship mine off a second time (in six years) and have it fixed again. Or I may just break down and buy a NOS part off eBay.
