Today's high 18 at midnight and falling ever since.
We're at 1 now and about to go under, headed for 7 below tonight.
I would have used the crying smiley but the tears are frozen.

How's my niece doing in all this cold ?

Dirk Jr. is doing fine and has about a hundred new friends to play with.
So far, so good.

I still say the Weather has gone TOTALY WHACKY.

Tonight is our first sub-zero temp that I know of this year. We did have a few in December but not many.
Tomorrow the temp starts climbing, Thursday will be 40 and by next Tuesday we're looking at 52.

Anyone in Frickin' Freezin' New England build an IGLOO yet :?:

Left work tonight to find my truck encased in ice from the freezing rain.
Were going to be about 30 all night so I can't wait to dynamite off the ice tomorrow from the windshield. :lol:

Not my car and pretty extreme. I believe it was a car parked near the water front and waves & wind coated it.
I will only have about a 1/4 inch or so to get off the glass. Remote starter to the rescue!
That is as long as we still have power at work. This crap tends to weigh down the branches onto the roads & power lines.

We get this from time to time...

This happened just overnight

It's been a weird winter. We have a second manufacturing facility about a quarter mile from my office that I also have to support... I was there night before last until just after nine PM. There was a brand new three inch coating of snow right on top of an ice base. Niiiiicccce... ride home.

The very next night, I left that same building at 6:00PM and the parking lot was not only snow free, but it was bare right down to the tar. The ride home was totally uneventful.

Today!!! I left there at around 6:15 and there's another three inches on the road and slippin' an slidin'... WTF? It's supposed to be colder than Maleficent's left areola for Friday and then clear sailing in the high thirties and low forties for three days in a row. I need to be in Key West with a tube in my mouth connected to a very large vat of Patron Silver...

It was actually warming up enough to fly the phantom a little yesterday, and then out of nowhere we got hit by hail and a bunch of snow right after it. When I was out earlier, I didn't notice any ice under it, but it's supposed to freeze over tonight so I guess the fun it about to begin...once again. We had 1 full day of no snow/ice, and then mother nature said "JUST KIDDING!"
