Your in the teens! I am begging for teens... were in the single digits, forever now, sometimes above zero, sometimes below. Coldest month on record ever! Yesterday we were 11 and it felt warm! LOL! I keep telling myself only two more months of this crap, then the flooding can begin! :shock:

I'm too old to be hangin out with the cows at these temps. So today I went to Wally World and bought some warm socks and those newfangled hand warmer things.

I'm surprised you folks back east haven't bought them all up.

Anyone else plug their car in? I've got an engine block heater.
Love it... car starts right up and the heater is cooking within a minute or two.

We got another five inches overnight and they're predicting snow, then rain, then snow for the next three days... It's Fiazuckin' MARCH already... Let us up!!!

Daylight savings time in six days and Spring in eighteen or so... I can feel it in the air... I'm sure we'll soon see our front lawn speckled with dead robins with their feet sticking out of the snow.

Today I saw what has come to be our (my wife and myself's) first sign of spring. A couple of mallard ducks (male and female) snarfing down food from under our bird feeder. They're back here every year about this time and only stay a day or so...

Storm to hit here in morning and most of the day. Snow, freezing rain, sleet, all the crap of winter. At least we made it to March. We just may get lucky and have it warm up enough to start to melt all this crap.

For years and years we have always had a least 100 of them stick around all winter. Fun going to the lake with a coffee can full of corn. In no time at all you are surrounded with ducks! Last winter, worst in 30 years, I could not find any. This year with all the cold, one can only find about 25, now and then. I think they got so dam sick of winter last year, they stayed away this year. Good thing they did or their beaks would have froze shut this year!

We already have spring flowers the snow didn't get the other day trying to come up !!
It has to green up here shortly as Turkey season starts at the end of the month !!!!!

Well our temps are here hovering around 28 degrees but that brought freezing rain with it. This is the anniversary of a huge crippling ice storm we had a few years ago. I hope we don't get that again, power lines & trees down everywhere. I better go sharpen my chain saw and get generator fuel. :?
