Global Warming? Naw, Wyoming is blessed

Compliments of the NWS:

Out here where I'm hanging out...
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 68. West wind 5 to 9 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.
Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, low 45.
Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 71.
Sunday Night: A 20 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, low 41.

Meanwhile, no where near the ranch,
New England will experience wintry precipitation with areas of freezing rain and heavy snow.

I laugh in your general direction :!:

Always good to work in a Holy Grail reference.

Maybe a coincidence TJ, but how's the security on the WiFi at your shop, if in fact there is any?

We do have wifi in the office for clients to look up documents on a laptop. It has the standard protection, wpk2 or something like that. Just curious, how would fruadulant CC usage coincide with the office wifi?

36 and raining here. Finally melting the mountains of snow!

I thought you had a store, not an office and I wasn't sure how purchases were made there.
My brain wandered through the possibilities of how both of you could have been hit.
I'm not a big fan of the WiFi & Credit Card combination.

Sounds like coincidence.

NWS says:
This Afternoon Partly sunny, with a high near 70. Calm wind becoming west southwest around 6 mph.

I feel bad for you folks getting pummeled with crappy weather. At least you're thawing out a bit.

 Ya !! Next purchase as they outlasted my battery's

LOL, you had any doubts they wouldn't?
I bought one of those cheap 3x charge strips and use it with an equally cheap 12v cord in the cars 12v socket. At home I have a 12v 10a power brick I use with the charge strip.

TJ,
Do you have to turn on your batteries when you use that cheap 3x charge strip?
I have to with mine.

Yes sir I do. Took me a little trial and error when I first got it because it came with zero instructions, but what should I expect for less than $10. The key is the higher amp power brick. There are no time savings if you use the standard OEM charger power brick.

PS - any of you folks satellite tv gurus?

Hey TJ,
How bout a link to that charger... beating my head against a wall trying to find one that will work on my FC40 battery.

That's cool you have a link to the rules in your signature. :D

Wanna PM me a brief on your sat problem?

FC40? Doesn't that use the standard RC multi-cell battery? Any inverter with your OEM charger would work. Other than that do your research and invest in a good multi-charger.

PM on it's way.

Depends on what type of satellite TV you are referring to.

Not the old school style but the modern Dish TV type. I am looking at my options to replace my cable tv service. One of my goals is to be able to also access the service from my remote seasonal 5th wheel site as well as home.

A person I know of sort of a friend of my friend had an expensive dish on his motor home for when he went on vacation. From what we had dicussed over two years ago, when he parked for the night he had to do little adjusting after the dish would open up, align to a satellite, Dish network in his case, and he would have TV. Can't ask him about it because he passed about a year ago. One thing you need to remenber that with Dish service your reception of local channels are a spot feed from the satellite and if you are hundreds of miles from home you will not receive the local channels. Anything else in your subscription should be received. I would think any RV seller would have information on such an "automatic" dish antenna setup.
