Tallyrver, I like your idea of the battery for the tx. Is it the smallest or can I fit smaller do you know? Thanks

The the plastic walkera g2d comes on and off very easily. It's not hard to switch between it and the stock fc40 cam (or a go pro in its regular housing). You don't have to keep the gimbal on it all of the time. The white plastic gimbal looks really sharp on the phantom as well. If you wire it up with a means to disconnect the cable easily it's very easy to use either setup.
